Most labor migrants work in the Netherlands only temporarily. And during this time they often move from city to city. Therefore, it is often difficult to register with a permanent GP practice. Since 2020, there has been a GP team that focuses entirely on digital services for patients: Arene.

Arene is a normal GP practice with the exception that communication is done digitally as much as possible. This means that you don't have to visit your GP at his or her office. The appointment is made on the website. This appointment is often made via video call, phone call, chat or email.

Use of Arene and registration with Arene are covered by the basic health insurance package, and there are no additional costs.
