Fat Thursday

In Poland, on the last Thursday before Lent, the tradition is once again to "sin" and eat as many "donuts" as possible. This fried type of dough is usually filled with jam or other sweets and covered with powdered sugar or icing.

Doughnuts are reminiscent of the Dutch oliebol or German Berlinerbol. The Wednesday after Fat Thursday, or Ash Wednesday, marks the beginning of Catholic Lent, which lasts until Easter.

Since this tradition is very popular in Poland, on February 24 we will distribute donuts to all Green Talent employees!
